KSSSE Management Board at the groundbreaking of the missile factory in Gorzów Wielkopolski

Tomasz Pisarek – President of the Management Board, Magda Hilszer – Vice-President of the Management Board, and Antoni Sołtys – Member of the Management Board, represented K-S SSE S.A. at the ceremony marking the start of construction of a factory for guided missiles for the HOMAR-K systems. This is the result of cooperation between K-S SSE S.A., the investor and the authorities of Gorzów Wielkopolski.

The event was attended by the Secretary of State at the Ministry of National Defence Magdalena Sobkowiak-Czarnecka. The symbolic turning of the first sod inaugurated the implementation of the Hanwha WB Advanced Systems investment.

The plant is being built as a result of cooperation between the Polish WB GROUP and the South Korean Hanwha Aerospace. The new factory will develop production competences in Poland, including in guided CGR-080 missiles for the HOMAR-K systems. The start of assembly of the first missiles is planned for 2029.

The preparation of the project combined the commitment of the investor, the local government and K-S SSE S.A. The inauguration was an important moment for all the partners who cooperated in establishing Poland's first factory producing guided missiles on a large scale.

The investment comprises more than 60 buildings and the creation of more than 250 new jobs. It expands the capabilities of the Polish defence industry through the launch of production of missiles of a kind not previously manufactured in the country.
