K-S SSE OPENS A NEW CHAPTER OF COOPERATION WITH CHINA!

Lubuskie Economic Congress 2026 was a day of important international agreements, business meetings and promotion of the region's investment potential for the Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone.

On 15 October in Zielona Góra, during the Congress, hosted by Sebastian Ciemnoczołowski – Marshal of the Lubuskie Voivodeship, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was formally signed between K-S SSE and the National High-Tech Industry Development Zone in Haikou, China.

The agreement was signed by Tomasz Pisarek – President of the Management Board of K-S SSE S.A., Antoni Sołtys – Member of the Management Board of K-S SSE S.A. and Wang Lei – Deputy Director General of the Foreign Affairs Office of Hainan Province.

The document sets out the directions of future cooperation in the areas of investment, trade, technological innovation and industrial development, with particular emphasis on the automotive industry, food processing and logistics.

This is the next stage of the economic relations with China that K-S SSE has been consistently developing in cooperation with the Lubuskie Voivodeship Self-Government.

On the future of industry and international cooperation

Another important item on the programme was the participation of President Tomasz Pisarek in the debate “Ecosystems of the Future. Innovation, Industrial Zones and Digitalisation in International Networks”.

The discussion, involving representatives of financial institutions and partners from Germany, the Czech Republic and China, focused on the role of innovation, modern industrial zones and international economic links in building the competitiveness of the European economy.

Lubuskie business in the spotlight!

The Congress was also an opportunity for direct talks with entrepreneurs. At the K-S SSE promotional stand, the marketing department (Andrzej Kail, Iwona Sztuka, Anna Gajewska, Katarzyna Dombek and Daniel Widziewicz) presented to representatives of Lubuskie companies the Zone's investment offer, the possibilities of using tax relief under the Polish Investment Zone, and the instruments supporting new projects.

From Zielona Góra to Szprotawa – more talks with Chinese business!

The intensive day ended with a meeting in Szprotawa organised by the Marshal's Office of the Lubuskie Voivodeship with representatives of the Chinese company MINTH, at which K-S SSE was represented by Antoni Sołtys – Member of the Management Board and Andrzej Kail – Marketing Director. The talks were another opportunity to present the region's investment potential and to develop direct relations with international business.
