A support decision must be obtained before the investment is started. Not only the commencement of construction works, but also placing a binding order for machinery or concluding a contract with a general contractor may be regarded as the start of the investment.

It is therefore worth checking the possibility of using the Polish Investment Zone already at the planning stage — before the commitments made rule out covering the project with support.
