ANTONI SOŁTYS ON THE ECONOMY ZONE PROGRAMME, SEPTEMBER 2026

53 support decisions and over PLN 2.5 billion of declared investments – these are the most important results of the activities of the Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone presented in the September edition of the programme „Strefa Gospodarki” (“Economy Zone”). Antoni Sołtys, Member of the Management Board of K-S SSE S.A., also spoke about cooperation with entrepreneurs, local governments and educational institutions.

Antoni Sołtys said that K-S SSE S.A. consistently supports the economic development of the region and helps companies take advantage of the opportunities offered by the Polish Investment Zone. He emphasised that the Support Decision enables entrepreneurs to obtain a corporate income tax exemption, which can be a significant impulse for implementing new projects and expanding plants.

One of the examples mentioned was the expansion of the RECARO Aircraft Seating Polska plant in Świebodzin. In 2025 the company received a Support Decision, which became one of the elements supporting its further development.

The Member of the Management Board of K-S SSE S.A. concluded that one of the Zone's priorities is to reach both companies and local government units with information on the rules of support – including in the smallest municipalities. The initiatives of K-S SSE S.A. enable direct conversations, the exchange of experience and getting to know the tools that support investment.

Antoni Sołtys also talks about plans for the 30th anniversary of K-S SSE S.A., which we will celebrate on 23 September 2027.

Referring to cooperation with universities and upper-secondary schools, Antoni Sołtys noted that this is an important direction of K-S SSE S.A.'s activities. Partnerships with educational institutions help to combine education with business practice and to open young people up to entrepreneurship.

An example of this approach is the „My First Business” competition, in which young participants present their own ideas and develop a creative outlook on running a business. Openness to the energy and ideas of the younger generation matters for the economic future of the region.
