RECARO EXPANDS ITS PLANT IN ŚWIEBODZIN

On 26 January 2026 we attended the laying of the foundation stone, and just 9 months later we can already speak of the completion of construction.

On Friday, 25 September, representatives of the Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone – Andrzej Kail, Marketing Director, and Iwona Sztuka, Deputy Marketing Director – attended the official opening of the expanded RECARO Aircraft Seating Polska plant in Świebodzin.

This is an investment that we are particularly pleased to follow. In 2025, RECARO received support decision no. 1 from K-S SEZ, opening the next stage of the company's development in our region.

As part of the „space2grow” project, the plant's floor area has increased to over 22,000 m², and its target production capacity will grow from 60,000 to as many as 100,000 passenger seats a year. Over the next five years, the company also plans to create more than 200 new jobs in Świebodzin.
During the opening ceremony, Michał Nowicki, General Manager of RECARO Aircraft Seating Polska, and Dr Mark Hiller, CEO of RECARO Aircraft Seating and RECARO Holding, both stressed that the new part of the plant increases the company's production capacity while also giving employees a modern working environment and room for further development.

The Świebodzin plant specialises in producing economy-class seats for the global aviation industry. To date, almost 660,000 passenger seats have been made here.
