DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE POLISH INVESTMENT ZONE IS?
The Polish Investment Zone (PSI) is a government programme supporting investments carried out throughout Poland.
The programme was introduced in 2018 and replaced the previous system of Special Economic Zones. Thanks to PSI, entrepreneurs can benefit from an income tax exemption – CIT or PIT – in connection with carrying out an eligible investment.
How does it work?
The entrepreneur submits an application for a support decision. After the investment is completed, they can benefit from an income tax exemption on income from the activity covered by the decision – until the available state aid limit is used up.
The decision is valid for 12, 14 or 15 years, depending on the location of the investment.
How much can you gain? Depending on the region, up to 60% of the investment costs incurred.

Importantly – the investment does not have to be carried out in the area of a former special economic zone.
PSI operates throughout Poland, including on private land. It can therefore be said that the whole of Poland is a Special Economic Zone.
The Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone oversees the area of three voivodeships – Lubuskie, Zachodniopomorskie and Wielkopolskie.
