DID YOU KNOW… NOT EVERY INDUSTRY CAN BENEFIT FROM PSI SUPPORT?

Many companies have already benefited from the support of the Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone S.A. Thanks to the Polish Investment Zone, they are developing their businesses, carrying out new investments and creating jobs.

But can every company receive support?

No.

The regulations define a catalogue of activities that are excluded from support under the Polish Investment Zone.

The main areas include, among others:

·       production of alcohol and tobacco products

·       construction works

·       wholesale and retail trade

·       transport – with specified exceptions

·       financial and insurance services

·       food service and accommodation

·       generation and distribution of energy and gas

·       selected industrial sectors, including the iron and steel industry, the coal sector and shipbuilding

·       certain types of waste-related activities

It is worth remembering that the list of exclusions is detailed and also provides for exceptions. Therefore, whether support can be obtained depends on the specific type of activity, not just the general description of the industry.
