VOIVODESHIP SCHOOL YEAR INAUGURATION
The new school year in the Lubuskie Voivodeship has officially begun!
Today, the Voivodeship School Year Inauguration took place at the Zespół Szkół im. Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie in Kostrzyn nad Odrą.
The Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone S.A. was represented at the event by Tomasz Pisarek - President of the Management Board, Antoni Sołtys - Member of the Management Board and Andrzej Kail - Marketing Director.
The event brought together representatives of national, voivodeship and county authorities. The ceremony was attended by, among others, Władysław Komarnicki - Senator of the Republic of Poland, Elżbieta Anna Polak - Member of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, Hubert Harasimowicz - Deputy Marshal of the Lubuskie Voivodeship, Marek Cebula - Voivode of Lubuskie, Krzysztof Karwatowicz - Starost of Gorzów County and Marek Halasz - Councillor of the Lubuskie Voivodeship and Chairman of the Committee on Culture, Education, Sport and Tourism.
One of the interesting moments of the ceremony was the address by Marek Cebula - Voivode of Lubuskie, who instead of an official speech chose to talk with the young people - about school, the future and the opportunities that await them.
For KSSSE, cooperation with the education sector is an important element of supporting the region's economic development. The Zone is involved in educational initiatives and cooperation with schools and universities, supporting the development of future staff for the Lubuskie economy.
To students starting the new school year, we wish curiosity, courage in developing their talents and satisfaction from every success. Good luck in the 2026/2027 school year!
