TALKS ON CURRENT INVESTMENTS AND REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT IN THE SENATE OF THE REPUBLIC OF POLAND

On 7 July 2026, the President of the Management Board of K-S SSE S.A., Tomasz Pisarek, met with Senator Władysław Komarnicki in the Senate of the Republic of Poland. Iwona Sztuka, Deputy Marketing Director of K-S SSE S.A., also took part in the talks.

The meeting focused on the most important investments being carried out in the areas of the Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone S.A. and their significance for the economic development of the Lubuskie Voivodeship and western Poland.

Particular attention was paid to two key projects. The first is the start, at the beginning of July, of preparatory works for the construction of a modern defence factory being carried out by the company Hanwha WB Advanced System. The second is the advanced stage of construction of the paper factory in Sulęcin, being built as part of an investment by the company VELVET WEST. The official opening of the Sulęcin plant is planned for the last days of September 2026.

The talks concerned the development of modern industry and the impact of the projects under way on the creation of new jobs and the increased competitiveness of the region.
