STUDY VISIT OF THE CLUB OF EMBASSY TRADE COUNSELLORS IN THE LUBUSKIE VOIVODESHIP – DAY 2
Another very intensive day is behind us in the company of diplomats representing 15 accredited embassies in Poland, led by Andrzej Szumowski, Vice President of the Krajowa Izba Gospodarcza (Polish Chamber of Commerce).
We began the Gorzów part with a visit to TPV Displays Polska – one of the largest consumer electronics manufacturers in the region and a zone investor. At the Filharmonia Gorzowska, the city's host, Mayor Jacek Wójcicki, presented the city and the region in terms of investment opportunities, but also as a place to live. Support in promoting the region was provided by Senator of the Republic of Poland Władysław Komarnicki, Hubert Harasimowicz, Deputy Marshal of the Lubuskie Voivodeship, and the Directors of the Krajowy Ośrodek Wsparcia Rolnictwa: Marek Halasz and Sebastian Gwóźdź. A surprise prepared by the City of Gorzów was a piano concert, which delighted our foreign guests.
In Nowa Sól we visited the company Nord Napędy sp. z o.o. (also a zone investor), specialising in modern drive systems for industry, and the Magazyn Solny, where Wadim Tyszkiewicz, Senator of the Republic of Poland, together with the Deputy Mayor of the City Tomasz Twardowski and Agnieszka Wodecka (Park Interior), spoke about the history of the city and its economic conditions.
At the close of the historic two-day event, the diplomatic delegation had the opportunity to learn the detailed conditions for investing in the KSSSE area and to meet representatives of the Zachodnia Izba Przemysłowo-Handlowa: Jerzy Korolewicz, Kamila Szwajkowska and Tomasz Molski.
The Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone was represented by: Tomasz Pisarek, President of the Management Board, Magdalena Hilszer, Vice President of the Management Board, and the team responsible for promotion and investor services: Andrzej Kail, Director of the Marketing Department, and his Deputies, Iwona Sztuka and Maciej Borowski.
We are convinced that the visit will contribute to the further development of economic cooperation between the Lubuskie Voivodeship and the countries represented by the participating Trade Counsellors, opening up new opportunities for local entrepreneurs and strengthening the region's international recognition.
We sincerely thank all the people and institutions involved in organising this exceptional event, in particular representatives of central and local government, institutional partners and the companies that opened their doors to the participants of the visit.
