The Business Bridge 2026. People, Technologies, Borders - event report

On 29 April 2026, the Polish-German conference „The Business Bridge 2026. People. Technologies. Borders.” was held at Collegium Polonicum in Słubice.

The event created a space for discussing the real opportunities, challenges and future of business in a cross-border region. The topics addressed included current economic and demographic trends, which have a significant impact on the labour market and investment directions.

Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone S.A. was a partner of the event, actively contributing to its substantive proceedings.

The presentation by the Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone, delivered by Maciej Borowski - Deputy Director for Marketing and Investor Services, fitted perfectly into the conference programme. As an important partner in the region's economic development, the zone actively supports entrepreneurs and creates conditions conducive to investment.

The impact of K-S SSE S.A.'s activities on the local economy was also discussed by the President of the Management Board, Tomasz Pisarek, who cited concrete data illustrating the scale and significance of investments carried out in the region.

The conference concluded with a debate featuring business practitioners, who shared their experiences, pointing out both the challenges and limitations, as well as the real opportunities of doing business on both sides of the border.
