TALKS ON ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND NEW INVESTMENTS WITH THE MUNICIPALITY OF SZCZANIEC

On 9 March 2026, talks were held at the headquarters of K-S SSE S.A.  on cooperation between the Municipality of Szczaniec and the Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone S.A., on strengthening the municipality's potential and on the role of local government in attracting new investors.  

The talks were attended by Tomasz Pisarek - President of the Management Board of K-S SSE S.A., Antoni Sołtys – Member of the Company's Management Board, Krzysztof Babij - Investment Projects Manager, Adam Browarny - Senior Infrastructure Specialist, Łukasz Porycki - Marshal of the Lubuskie Voivodeship, Maciej Sieńkowski - Wójt of the Municipality of Szczaniec, employees of the Szczaniec Municipal Office responsible for investments and spatial planning, as well as municipal councillors Piotr Ambroży and Maciej Kłosiak. A local entrepreneur was also present and shared his experience of doing business in the K-S SSE S.A. zone.

After the talks, a “Zoning for Local Governments” workshop led by Krzysztof Babij took place. During the “Zoning” session, the municipality's opportunities for economic and investment development, available investment sites and spatial development plans were discussed.

The lively discussion and numerous questions from participants confirmed the need to organise meetings of this kind. It is precisely thanks to them that local governments can learn more about investment opportunities within the Polish Investment Zone and cooperate more effectively with potential investors.
