OFFICIAL SIGNING OF A COOPERATION AGREEMENT

We are pleased to announce the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone S.A., the Poznań University of Economics and Business and the Special Purpose Vehicle of the Poznań University of Economics and Business.

The parties were represented by:

• Magda Hilszer, Vice-President of the Management Board of KSSSE, and Antoni Sołtys, Member of the Management Board of KSSSE,
• Prof. Barbara Jankowska, PhD, DSc, Rector of the Poznań University of Economics and Business, and Prof. Łukasz Puślecki, PhD, DSc, Vice-Rector for Cooperation,
• Prof. Arkadiusz Kawa, PhD, DSc, President of the UEP Special Purpose Vehicle.

The agreement is an expression of a shared declaration of cooperation in combining scientific potential with business practice. The aim of the partnership is to initiate and carry out undertakings that support the development of entrepreneurship, knowledge transfer and the implementation of innovative solutions in the business environment.

The Poznań University of Economics and Business, one of the oldest economic universities in Poland, has for years been educating specialists and leaders of economic life, combining a high level of scientific research with a practical approach to education. The UEP Special Purpose Vehicle is responsible for the commercialisation of research results and the effective implementation of solutions developed by the academic community.

The signed agreement opens up the prospect of joint projects, research and development initiatives, and activities supporting entrepreneurs and the socio-economic development of the region.
