14th International Scientific Conference “Effectiveness in Business”

The 14th International Scientific Conference „Effectiveness in Business” took place on 10 December 2025 at Akademia im. Jakuba z Paradyża in Gorzów Wielkopolski. The event was organised by the Faculty of Economics of AJP and Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone S.A.

The conference, held under the slogan „Cooperation between science and business as an opportunity for economic development”, aimed to exchange knowledge and experience regarding cooperation between the academic and business communities. The event was held in a hybrid format.

The programme included presentations and discussions devoted to the determinants of effective business, innovation, entrepreneurship and modern technologies. Maciej Borowski, Deputy Director for Marketing and Investor Services, presented issues related to the impact of the labour market on the investment activities of businesses in the Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone.                        

The high attendance and international character of the conference confirmed the growing importance of cooperation between science and business and created favourable conditions for establishing further relationships and initiatives.
